Chef in the Classroom
Chef in the Classroom offers 13 Enrichment Programs, including edible school gardens, farm field trips, harvest celebrations, and PTA family nights. All programs meet early learning requirements and are designed to enhance students knowledge of contemporary food issues
Our signature programs have provided authentic food experiences to thousands of children and families throughout the region
and has provided them with tools that enhance the family table and encourages healthy eating.
“I use to eat only a couple vegetables, and fruits, but now I eat a lot more. Now I eat apples, bananas, plums, pears and peaches. The vegetables I eat are carrots, before I didn’t eat any vegetables
